Pycnogenol A good Choice

I first heard about this product from Dr. Rosenfeld M.D. professor of Clinical Medicine at Wild Cornell University in N.Y. He said the reports were good as an antioxidant and an anti arthritis product especially for the knee. Today on the Fox News program that he is on at 7:30 A.M. PST he said it was also good for jet lag according to the British studies.



My own experience as I continue to take this product at 200 mg per day is that it is really helping to alleavate the pain in my knee due to the lack of a minicus due to surgery.



I recommend the product if you have knee problems due to arthritis.

Gradual ramp up of energy

Like many folks I did the free trial but did not read the fine print so ended up getting a big box for big bucks. However this is one of the few times that I am glad to have made a mistake. Since I got the delivery right before I head out for a business trip in Europe I decided to test this out while on trip.



I must say I am a convert! This stuff is great. Unlike coffee it does not pick you up quickly and crash you. It does take some time but for the first time since my twenties I felt fine after landing and working a full day with no problem sleeping afterward. It felt like my jetlags were over before it started. NowadaysI don't go anywhere without it. I still drink coffee but lot less than before. My co-workers make fun of me whenever I mix the power in the water bottle to create a florescent yellow liquid which they call kryptonite but it sure helps me to concentrate while awake and puts me to sleep when I need the rest.

The Green is better than the orange

These are great. You feel good without any jitters or other nasty side effects. The orange is a bit too bitter for me but I really like the lemon-lime! Some people don't like them I see - to each his own. I didn't like the drink mix so I find the chews easier to get down. I wonder if they have pills? That would be even better!More detail ...

I would not have believed it...

Understand...I am not a vitamin retard. I actually think that most of that stuff is all hype and doesn't work. This product definitely has benefits. And for me they are proven. I read the other reviews and I have to admit I didn't see any weight loss benefits it didn't seem to curb my hunger etc. BUT...believe it or not my hair became super soft...I don't use conditioner...really...it took about 3 months...and I take 2 pills in the morning and 2 at night. But it definitely did that. Also I use to have dry rough elbows. No lotion or anything I tried got rid of it. This stuff did. No more flaking dry elbows. I couldn't believe it. But the best thing? Without any other real change in my diet or exercise my cholestrol went down by 50 points in 6 months. My doctor came in with my lab work and said 'What have you been doing different?'. I said "what do you mean?". He Said "Your bad cholestrol dropped 50 points". I told him I had been taking acai berry. He couldn't believe it either. He just said keep doing what your doing and said that he could lower the dosage of my cholestol medication because of it. Believe me. This stuff has benefits. "THE" perfect addition to a Berry Healthy Smoothie!

After reading so many articles about the Acai Berry...I went looking for a powder form to add to my strawberry/blueberry antioxidant smoothie. After finding this at The Vitamin Shoppe (a store I've come to trust)...I bought two containers. They're both empty and I'm waiting on my next order. Recommended to me by both my eye doc AND family physician

My eye doctor recommended I caps a few years ago and to be honest I forgot all about the recommendation until I recently asked my physician what he felt the best multi-vitamin was. ( I just turned 43; it seemed a relevant question to revisit!) Because these not only contain all the other vitamins one would want in a multi but also contain the necessary ingredients to help prevent macular degeneration apparently this one was once again the pick. Because of that and because both of my doctors have no association it has been my vitamin of choice.



My mother actually had some kind of corneal surgery and now takes these as well...seems to be a well rounded vitamin with even some ingredients that not all multiples have such as Chromium.



I like that the focus is not only on the healthy body but vision as well...equally as important.More detail ...

Amazing Product

I have been taking this product for 3 months now and the results have been amazing for both myself and my husband. I am a 30 year old female suffering from a neuromuscular disorder (MG) joint pain PMDD monthly migraines fatigue and insomnia. I now feel healthier than ever. It took about 1.5 weeks for us to notice the effects but we continue to feel better and better. I was scared to tell my neurologist that I was taking this (since it has not yet been approved by the FDA) but decided to tell him at my last visit. Turns out he has been taking this same brand too!



To be fair though to the previous reviewer I do think that the effects are more noticeable in someone who has been chronically ill as I was. My husband was healthy prior to starting this and although he has more energy now the effects are not as great in him as they have been in me.More detail ...

If this is a product you normally use I highly recommend getting it from Amazon on price alone! We have used it for many years as our son has a metabolic disorder that requires he takes LOTS of it.
